The LAUSD Redistricting Commission’s Recommended Map

The LAUSD district boundaries are redrawn every ten years to account for changes in the population.  The LAUSD Redistricting Commission makes a recommendation to City Council about where district lines should be re-drawn.  A crucial part of this recommendation is the recommended map.  It depicts the proposed districts lines that would re-define the areas in which LAUSD board members serve.

The vivid colors of the map beautifully illustrate the geographic areas that would be part of each district.  The recommended map is a detailed street-level map.  Maps of individual districts are also available on the Website.
